A rental day is up to 24 hours. A charge for an additional rental day and damage coverages will apply if the car is returned more than 1 hour after the end of the rental day.

Minimum Age Requirements:
• Group A: Age 21 (Double coverage charges and non waivable excess will apply for drivers ages 21-23
years for group A).
• Groups B,C: Age 23.
• Groups D,E,I,K,M: Age 26.
• Groups F,H,J: Age 28.

An additional charge for young driver: age 21-25 - $7 per day, max $70 per rental.

Only the person whose name appears on the rental agreement is authorized to drive the rented car. Any additional person wishing to also make use of the rented car must be pre approved by Avis and meet the necessary eligibility requirements.

|
VAT: 16%. Will apply on all components of the rental, incl. the additional charges as listed hereinbelow. VAT doesn't apply on tourists entering Israel with a foreign passport stamped with a B2, B3 or B4 Visa. The exemption from VAT does not apply to Israeli citizens with dual nationality.

Valid Driving License: for a minimum period of two years.

|
Credit Card: the renter must present a credit card bearing his/her own name. The card must have embossed digits. When renting a luxury car (group H) renter must present two credit cards bearing his own name.

|
One way rental to or from Eilat: minimum charge of 3 days rental.
|
|
Exiting the borders of the country or entering the Palestinian authority's territory is forbidden.
|
Additional Charges:
• Gasoline: we suggest returning the car with a full tank, as an additional fueling charge will apply
otherwise. Please inquire in advance about the type of fuel needed by the rented car (gasoline, diesel,
unleaded etc.). Fueling with a wrong kind of fuel may cause severe damage to the engine of the rented
car and will result in a charge for the damages.
• Delivery/Collection – an additional charge of 20$ will apply in case of delivery or collection of the car to
the renter. An additional charge of 30$ will apply in case of delivery/collection of the car to Ovda
Airport.
• Non-Waivable Excess: charge of ranging sums according to car group. In any case undercarriage
damage or damage to tires is not covered and renter will be required to pay for full damage.
• Baby Seat: $3 per day.
• Additional Driver: $2.5 per day.
• Airport Fee: $27 per rental starting or ending at Ben-Gurion Airport.
• Handling fee of $12 for processing of reports of traffic/parking violations and use of toll roads by
the renter.
